General Information

The first seeded single competition was the “owner” of the tournament Ivo Karlovich (27th in the world at that time). Another Croatian winner of the last two draws, Marin Cilic, did not defend his title. Karlovich started from the second round and lost his match at this stage to Marcos Baghdatis . In his absence, the finals met the third seeding number of Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and the fifth number Andreas Seppi . As a result, the victory was won by Garcia-Lopez, becoming the first Spaniard who managed to win local competitions. One representative of Russia took part in the main tournament: Mikhail Yuzhny , who was seeded under the sixth number and reached the quarter finals, where he lost to the Cypriot Baghdatis.

In the doubles tournament, the victory was won by Marine Dragana and Henry Kontinen , who were seeded at the tournament under the second number. Last year's champions Jean-Julien Royer and Horia Tekeu did not defend their title. Mikhail Youzhny also represented Russia in the doubles competitions, but in a pair Andreas Seppi left at the start of the tournament.
