Appearance
The observer , as a rule, is a flying ball with a mouth and a single eye in the middle, in addition, he has several stalked eyes, similar to the eyes of mollusks. This creature is magical. The central eye suppresses magic in the field of vision, while the small ones can produce spell-effect. Due to magic, the Observer levitates.
Lifestyle
Observers are extraplanar beings originating far from Fairun on the Outer Planes . They often travel on spelljammers, and in higher spheres they meet almost more often than on the primary material level.
Those of evil eyes who live in the kingdoms tend to hide from people in the Underdark or other hard-to-reach places. Often they guard ancient treasures or secret spell books. The attitude of observers towards representatives of other races is hostile; they are arrogant xenophobes who consider themselves to be the highest race. However, sometimes they do make alliances with other evil races, such as the drow and illithids .
