History

The status and boundaries of the urban settlement are established by the Law of Smolensk Region dated December 28, 2004 No. 136-Z “On granting the status of the municipal district of the municipality“ Ugransky District “” [3] .

Since 2013 - a rural settlement [4] .

By the law of Smolensk region dated May 25, 2017 No. 58-z [5] , on June 5, 2017, through their unification, Ugranskoye, Rusanovskoye and Mytishinskoye rural settlements were transformed into Ugranskoye rural settlement with an administrative center in the village of Ugra .
