Story
Eagle's Nest, Western Australia . Wealthy owner of the motel Jack Taylor believes that his wife Alice started a romance. After a heated quarrel, Jack hires Charlie Wolfe - a private detective and a hit man. When Charlie returns with a video proof of Alice's treason with Dylan Smith, Jack orders Charlie to kill her. Alice made an appointment with dentist Nathan Webb to treat a tooth that damaged Jack when he hit her. Jack tells Charlie that Alice will be with the dentist. Before leaving for the dentist, Alice sneaks into Jack's office and collects all the money from the safe.
Charlie is amused by the actions of Nathan and his wife, the administrator of dentistry, Lucy, who, having pumped Alice with sleeping pills, kidnap her and finally after several failures send her off a cliff in a burning car. Charlie took incriminating pictures. Nathan finds a bag of money stolen by Alice from Jack and picks it up before trying to kill her. It is not known to all participants that Alice wakes up on time and jumps out of the car before it falls and explodes. Pleased that Alice is dead, Charlie returns to Jack for payment, without telling him that the murder was carried out by others. When Jack discovers that the safe is empty, he immediately suspects that Alice and Dylan have robbed him. He convinces Charlie that he has a lot of money in the bank, and Charlie says he will be back the next day.
Meanwhile, Nathan and Lucy, faking death, want to get insurance. The fraud scheme was implemented by replacing Lucy’s tooth card with Alice, hoping to deceive the insurers, making him believe that Lucy died in a fire accident. Bruce Jones, a corrupt policeman, immediately recognizes that this is Nathan’s actions, and is impressed that he is capable of killing his wife, so he requires half of the insurance for silence. At the same time, Charlie anonymously blackmails Nathan with images of the abduction and murder of Alice. Lucy pushes Nathan to pay the blackmailer and do away with it, and he reluctantly makes an appointment.
Dylan comes to Jack and kills him. Charlie meets with Nathan, who considers himself safe from harm, because he is the only one who can take money on insurance. Nathan is surprised when Charlie arranges a surprise by shooting him. Before his death, Nathan discovers the location of the money that he found during the abduction of Alice. Charlie returns to collect money from Jack, and discovers his corpse. At the same time, police officer Bruce runs into Charlie at the crime scene. Charlie kills Bruce and leaves, after which he sneaks into Lucy's house, but it turns out that they work together.
Lucy was upset that Charlie killed Nathan, now she can no longer get insurance money for her own falsified death. Charlie says that he will not share the remaining money with her and leaves, before saying that she will now inherit Jack's motel, since he was her brother. Dylan arrives, points a gun at Charlie, at which point Lucy and Charlie begin to argue about the killing of Alice, which confuses Dylan. Dylan shoots Charlie, but he deflects his hand, and a bullet kills Lucy. Charlie injures Dylan and prepares to kill him, but the surviving Alice sneaks up on Charlie from behind and knocks him off the parapet , where he sits on the armature. Alice and Dylan leave the crime scene with the money, at this moment Charlie calls and he answers weakly on the phone to assure the client that he will arrive soon.
