Ivan Andreevich Vasilenko ( August 8, 1927 , the village of Kutsevolovka , Onufrievsky district , Kirovograd region , Ukrainian SSR ) is a production leader, steelmaker of the Dnepropetrovsk plant of metallurgical equipment of the USSR Ministry of Heavy, Power and Transport Engineering. Hero of Socialist Labor (1971). Member of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 9th convocation.

Biography
Ivan Vasilenko was born on August 8, 1927 into a peasant family in the village of Kutsevolovka. In 1943 he began his career on the local collective farm. After receiving secondary education, he entered the factory school in Dnepropetrovsk. Since 1951 he worked at the Dnepropetrovsk plant of metallurgical equipment. He worked as an electric car driver, assistant steelworker. In 1960 he joined the Communist Party. Since 1962, he worked as a steelmaker at the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Equipment Plant.
In 1971 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 9th convocation.
