The third son of Philip II de Croix and Anna de Croix.
Viscount de Bourbur, Senior de Chevre, Kupel, Nyomson, Mölan and more.
Colonel Tersio of 1,000 Chevolier fans , who bravely commanded during the sieges of Noyon , Linyi , Dullan and Eden , as well as in the Battle of Gravelin .
In 1555–1559 he was the great equestrian horseman of the Habsburg Netherlands, Duke Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy .
In 1559, on the chapter in Ghent , Philip II became a knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece .
He died in his castle, Ranti, and was buried in the church of Shyevra .
