Compensation Measurement Method

Compensation measurement method ( lat. Compensatio ) - a measurement method based on balancing (compensation) of the measured value with a homogeneous model value (see. System of relative units ). The compensation method of measurement is used to measure electric ( EMF , voltage , current , power , resistance , etc.) and non-electric quantities - temperature ( isotherm ), mechanical displacements, light fluxes , mass ( relative atomic mass , solar mass ), relative position ( height above sea level / above the surface of the earth [1] ; isobaths / isohypses ) and other relative quantities and the like, which can usually be previously [optional] converted into electrical quantities ( amu → eV ).
