Ponosha is a river in the Moscow region of Russia , the left tributary of the Moscow River .

It flows in a southeast direction along the territory of the Ruzsky urban district , the last 400 meters - along the border with the Odintsovo district [1] . The length is 15 km [2] .
It originates from the village of Novogorbovo , flows into the Moskva River 15 km below the Tuchkovo station of the Smolensk direction of the Moscow Railway . Similarly to the neighboring Moskvoretsky tributaries - Ruzdelka , Zhukovka and Gnilush - it is often used by tourists as the initial stage of trips to the Glubokoye lake [2] .
Food is mainly due to melt snow water. It freezes in November - early December, opens in late March - April.
On the river there are settlements Krivosheino , Apalshchino , Kolyubakino , Vysokovo , Kryukovo and Altynovo (from source to mouth) [1] .
In 2008, a natural reserve of local importance was organized, “Highlands of the forest divides of the Zhukovka and Ponosha rivers” [3] .
