Maria Ivanovna Sharova ( March 17, 1928 - January 27, 2015 ) - weaver of the Orekhovsky cotton mill named after Nikolaeva, Moscow region. Hero of Socialist Labor ( 1971 ). "Honored Worker of Light Industry of the RSFSR", "Honorary Citizen of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo."

Biography

Born on March 17, 1928 in the village of Algasovo, Algasovsky district, Tambov region . She graduated from 9 classes of high school, accounting courses. She worked in the local branch of the State Bank . In 1947 she left for Moscow, where she entered the position of installer-time-sheeter in Mosenergo , mastered welding.

In 1949 she moved to the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo, Moscow Region. In November 1949, she got a job at the weaving factory No. 3, where she became one of the best Soviet weavers. Over the course of her long and fruitful life she was repeatedly awarded with the badges of excellent pupil of socialist competition, winner and drummer of five-year plans [1] .

Since 1962, she was elected a member of the party bureau of the factory. In addition, she was elected a member of the party committee of the plant, did a lot of work in the trade union organization. For five years - a member of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions , for 20 years - a member of the regional industry committee. It was delegated to the XV and XVI congresses of trade unions of the USSR, was elected as a deputy of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky city Council of people's deputies.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 5, 1971, for outstanding achievements in the early fulfillment of the tasks of the five-year plan and for his great creative contribution to the development of the production of fabrics, knitwear, shoes, sewing products and other products of light industry, Sharova Maria Ivanovna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the order Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

Since 1976, she worked as an instructor in industrial training, transferring all her strength, knowledge and professional experience to young specialists. In 1979, she received the certificate "The best mentor of the Orekhovsky plant." Honored Worker of Light Industry of the RSFSR (rank awarded in June 1981). Honorary citizen of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo since January 1981.

After working for 45 years at the Orekhovsky cotton mill named after Nikolaeva, she retired. While on a well-deserved vacation, she headed the Council of Veterans of Weaving Factory No. 3, was a member of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky City Council of Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces. She died on January 27, 2015 [2] .

Rewards

She was awarded the Order of Lenin (04/05/1971), the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1966).
