Biography
Konstantin Purievich was born on May 28, 1866 in Zhytomyr. In 1889 he graduated from Kiev State University and stayed there and worked all his life, first as a scientist, and from 1900 to 1916 he held the position of professor and head of the Department of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
Konstantin Puryevich died on August 31, 1916 in Isabelivka during his vacation.
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to metabolism during respiration and photosynthesis of plants.
