Biography
He graduated from the Tashkent Conservatory (a student of Boris Nadezhdin ). In 1967 he became the director and artistic director of the Samarkand Opera and Ballet Theater, and in 1972 the artistic director of the Uzbek Philharmonic Society . In 1948-1956 and in 1982-1985, 1st Secretary, and in 1960-1965 Chairman of the Board of the Union of Composers of the Uzbek SSR. In 1968-1978 he taught at the Tashkent Conservatory. He wrote romances and songs.
