The sixth generation of gaming systems

The era of the sixth generation of gaming systems (also called the era of 128-bit gaming systems ) refers to computer games and game consoles , as well as handheld gaming devices that began to appear at the turn of the 21st century. The list of sixth generation platforms includes Sega Dreamcast , Sony PlayStation 2 , Nintendo GameCube and Microsoft Xbox .
