Son Yong Jae ( corr. 연재 ; born May 28, 1994 , Seoul , Republic of Korea ) - South Korean gymnast , bronze medalist at the 2014 World Championships in the hoop exercise, participant in two summer Olympic games, multiple champion of continental championships. Sports Biography
In 2010, a young Korean gymnast performed at the Asian Summer Games in Guangzhou, China . In the team championship, the Korean national team didn’t have enough for getting on the podium, and in the individual all-around, Son showed a high score in the final and won the bronze medal of the Asian Games. At the World Championships in 2011, Young Zhe was not enough for getting into the top ten in personal all-around. Also, the Dream as part of the Korean team became the 8th in the group exercise.
At the Summer Olympics, 18-year-old Young Zhe made her debut in 2012 in London . According to the results of the qualifying round in the individual all-around Korean gymnast showed the 6th result. In the final, Son was able to improve her result and took the final 5th place, while in exercises with a ball and a ribbon she showed the 3rd result. In 2013, at the World Championships in Kiev for the first time she was able to get into the finals of individual exercises, but she never managed to take a place higher than the 6th. According to the results of individual all-around Korean gymnast took a high 5th place. At the Incheon home summer Asian games , the South Korean national team with Son Yong Zhe in the team took second place in the teams, losing to the rivals from Uzbekistan, but in the individual all-around competition, Son confidently won the gold medal. The 2014 World Cup in Izmir, Turkey was very successful for Yong Zhe. In February 2017, Son Yong Zhe announced her retirement career [1] .
