European Football Championship 2006 (U-17)

The final tournament of the European Football Championship 2006 among youth under 17 was held in Luxembourg from May 3 to May 14, 2006 . Football players born after January 1, 1989 could participate in the tournament. The winner was a sensational Russian team, which defeated the experienced German team in the semifinals, and outplayed the Czech Republic in the penalty shootout. The third winner was the Spanish national team.
