Zaporizhzhya bus - a network of city bus routes of the city of Zaporozhye . The first bus route was opened in 1932. In 2008 in Zaporozhye there were 112 bus routes and fixed-route taxis and 1,198 buses of various classes. The length of bus routes is from 10 to 55 kilometers. [one]

According to the head of the Department of Automotive Technical Inspection of the State Autonomous Aviation Administration Vladimir Hryanisty, in March 2010, about two thousand buses of small capacity went to Zaporozhye routes. [2] At the beginning of 2017, most of the transportation was carried by fixed-route taxis. At the session of the City Council adopted the "Program for the development and improvement of urban passenger transport in the city of Zaporozhye for 2017-2019." According to which, priority is given to buses of classes I, II (medium and large capacity) for routes passing through the central parts of the city.
The network of external roads provides links with key cities of Ukraine - Kiev , Dnieper , Odessa , Kharkov , Poltava , regions of Ukraine, with the Black Sea and Azov coasts. Out-of-town bus transportation of passengers is carried out from three bus stations.

Carriers
Passenger traffic on city bus routes in the city of Zaporozhye is carried out by 23 enterprises of various patterns of ownership.
Fare
The fare is paid to the driver at the entrance to the bus. From January 21, 2019, the fare is 5-10 UAH., Depending on the route. The lowest tariffs are valid on the routes of KP Zaporozhelektrotrans (No. 17, 18, 38, 39, 56, 59, 72) - 5 UAH.
From September 1, 2017, by a decision of the Executive Committee of the Zaporizhzhya City Council, public transport drivers are required to provide school students with a discount of 50%. This benefit for schoolchildren applies during the school year from Monday to Friday [5] .
