The name Kikkiya is not Akkadian in origin, but has Hurrian roots; apparently Kikkiya was a Subarean . His name, in addition to the “Royal List”, is mentioned in the inscription Ashur-rem-niche , according to which Kikkiya built the city walls of the city of Ashur .
