Paula Harvey ( born Paula Harvey ; June 12, 1975 , Melbourne ), an Australian kayaker , played for Australia in the first half of the 2000s. Participant in the Athens Summer Olympics, winner of the World Championship bronze medal, winner of many regattas of national and international importance.

Biography
Paula Harvey was born on June 12, 1975 in Melbourne . She began to actively engage in kayaking from early childhood, she was trained at the Currumbin Creek Canoe Club sports club.
The first serious success at the adult international level was in 2003, when she got into the main team of the Australian national team and attended the World Championships in the American Gainesville, from where she brought the bronze dignity award, won in the classification of four-seater kayaks at a distance of 1000 meters - in the final it was only ahead crews from Hungary and Ukraine.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, she was awarded the right to defend the honor of the country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens - together with her partner Susan Tegg, she started in doubles at a distance of 500 meters, but managed to reach only the semi-finals, where she finished ninth. Soon after the end of these competitions, she decided to end the career of a professional athlete, losing her place in the national team to young Australian rowers.
