Biography
Joe Brigden-Jones was born on April 19, 1988 in Sydney . Began to actively engage in canoeing at the age of thirteen, was trained in the capital sports club Sydney Northern Beaches. At first she trained under the guidance of Guy Wilding, later she was a ward of the Bulgarian specialist Martin Marinov .
The first serious success at the adult international level was achieved in 2011, when she got into the main team of the Australian national team and visited the World Championships in the Hungarian Szeged, from where she brought the award of bronze dignity won in the standings of two-seater kayaks at a distance of 200 meters. In addition, this season has repeatedly won and got into the number of winners in various rowing disciplines in four stages of the World Cup.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, she won the right to defend the honor of the country at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London - in fours at five hundred meters in conjunction with Reich Lovell , Hannah Davis and Lindsay Fogarty located in the final protocol in ninth position. Soon after the end of these competitions, she decided to end her career as a professional athlete, giving way to the young Australian rowers in the team.
