(7816) Hanoi ( lat. Hanoi ) - an asteroid belonging to the group of asteroids crossing the orbit of Mars . It was discovered on December 18, 1987 by the Japanese astronomer M. Koisikawa at the Sendai Observatory and is named after the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi [1] .
