Johann Sebastian Bach ( German: Johann Sebastian Bach ; September 26, 1748, Berlin - September 11, 1778, Rome ) - German painter, graphic artist , son of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach , grandson and namesake of the composer [4] .

Among others, he studied under Adam Friedrich Ezer in Leipzig . In May 1773 he moved to Dresden , and in February 1776 - to Hamburg , where his father was the "director of music." In 1776 he moved to Rome, where in 1777 he fell ill with an unknown disease. He died the next year.
Creativity
Mostly painted idyllic landscapes with figures of people [4] . In the works, the influence of Solomon Gessner is noticeable. Toward the end of his life, he began to paint portraits and mythological scenes. Illustrated the work of Gottlieb Wilhelm Rabener and Christian Felix Weiss .
