Zharovikhinsky cemetery is a necropolis in Arkhangelsk , until recently - the largest of the city necropolises.

Content
History
The name is associated with the urban area of Zharovikha , located on the site of the village of the same name. Arose from a village cemetery.
After the closure for the burials of the Ilyinsky and Kuznechevsky cemeteries (1977), the Zharovikhinsky necropolis became the main city cemetery. After the closure of the Solombala cemetery (1980s), famous citizens were buried here.
At the cemetery there is a church of the Icon of the Mother of God "The Recovery of the Dead" [1] [2] [3] [4]

One of the organizers, the long-term head and coach of the Vodnik club (Arkhangelsk).
