Relativity Media LLC (sometimes called RelativityMedia and Relativity ) is an American media company based in Beverly Hills , California . It was founded in 2004 by Lynwood Spinks and Ryan Cavan , is the third largest mini-major (or mini-studio) in the world, engaged in the production, distribution, production and development of films. Content
History
The studio was founded by Lynwood Spinks and Ryan Kavan as an intermediary structure for working with studios using bank finance. Initially, the investor was a hedge fund from Wisconsin Stark Investments, by 2007 they had ceased to be interested in this business, and the New York hedge fund Elliott Management joined the pool of investors. In exchange for access to $ 1 billion of capital and a revolving credit line, he became a minority shareholder in Relativity Media. [6]
