Biography
Born April 10, 1939 in Anatolyevka, Odessa region.
He graduated from the Odessa Theater and Art College (1960), the acting department of VGIK (1965, the workshop of Yu. Genika and V. Shishkov), the directing department of the film faculty of KGITI named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary (1971).
He made his film debut as an actor (in the episode " On the Seven Winds ").
Chairman of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
Since 1971 - Director of the A.P. Kiev Film Studio Dovzhenko. Teacher of KGITI named after Karpenko-Kary.
