The Monaco Women's National Volleyball Team ( French Équipe de Monaco de volley-ball féminin ) represents Monaco at international volleyball competitions . The managing organization is the Monaco Volleyball Federation ( Fédération Monégasque de Volley-Ball ).

History
Monaco Volleyball Federation was founded in 1987 . Since 1988 - Member of the FIVB and the ECB .
In May 1993, the women's volleyball team of Monaco made its debut in the international arena, taking part in the Games of small European countries , held in Malta . At the group stage of the tournament, Monegasque volleyball players won one victory (over the Malta team ) and suffered two defeats from the teams of Cyprus and Iceland , having dropped out of the fight for the Games medals. In the future, for 23 years, the Monaco team has not participated in official international competitions.
Monaco is one of the three member countries of the European Volleyball Confederation , where the national championship is not held (except for it is Andorra and Liechtenstein ), and the country's strongest team (Monaco) plays in the French championship (in the season 2015-2016 in the third most important division - national division 2).
