The series was ordered by NBC on May 7, 2015 [3] . On July 27, 2015, NBC changed the name of the show from “People Talk” to “In Truth” [4] . NBC reduced the order from thirteen episodes to ten on October 27, 2015. [5]

Criticism Reviews

“In truth,” received generally negative reviews from critics. On Metacritic, the show has 26 points out of a hundred based on 20 reviews [6] . On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has 13% “freshness”, which is based on the 31st review of critics with an average rating of 3.1 / 10. The critical consensus of the site is: “The show strives to be very sharp, but it actually sends viewers to listen to the ridiculous jokes of the typical characters of the sitcoms” [7] .
