The administrative center was the village of Gremyachye .
Content
Geography
Located in the north-east of the area. It bordered on Volkovsky , Kurbakinsky , Androsovsky and Bolshebobrovsky village councils, as well as the Oryol region . The Pesochnaya River flowed through the village council.
History
It was formed in the first years of Soviet power. As of 1926, it was part of the Volkovsky volost of the Dmitrov district of the Oryol province [1] . In 1928 it became part of the Mikhailovsky (now Zheleznogorsk) district. It was abolished in mid-1973 in connection with the allotment of land for the construction of the Mikhailovsky mining and processing complex hydraulic dump on the Pesochnaya River. At the same time, part of the settlements of the village council was abolished, and their residents were relocated to Zheleznogorsk , part - transferred to the neighboring village councils ( Bolshebobrovsky and Volkovsky ).
