Biography
At the end of the 1930s, he created in Sana'a the legal society “Organization of good advice and censure of bad deeds”.
He completed his education in Egypt , where he left in 1939 .
In 1941 he returned to Yemen, where he engaged in preaching in mosques, for which he was imprisoned. In 1942 he left prison and headed to Taiz .
In 1944 he emigrated to Aden .
He returned to Sana'a after the assassination of Imam Yahya in 1948 , but was soon forced to emigrate to Pakistan .
In 1955 - 1962, together with Ahmed Mohammed Numan in Cairo, he headed the bureau of the "Yemeni Union" created by "free Yemenis."
In 1962, he finally returned to Yemen, becoming the Minister of Education.
During the civil war in North Yemen, he created the “Party of Allah” ( Hizb Alla ), the program of which included the requirement to create an “Islamic republic”, and by mid- 1965 a political bloc had formed in North Yemen, which advocated the creation of an “Islamic state”.
Author of the draft interim constitution of the YAR , approved by the Hamer Conference (1965).
He was killed near the northern border of the YAR. [one]

In Sana'a, one of the streets is named after az-Zubeiri.
