Nitzana (checkpoint)

Nitzana ( Arabic: معبر نيتسانا ; Hebrew מעבר ניצנה ) is a border checkpoint connecting the Egyptian city of Ujah and the Israeli Nitzana . Originally opened in 1982 to pass pedestrians and private cars.

Now the checkpoint works exclusively for the passage of commercial cargo between Egypt and Israel. The customs terminal is open on Mondays – Thursdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 17:00.
