Sieradz Uyezd is an administrative unit of the Kalish province of the Russian Empire , which existed from 1837 to 1919 . The administrative center is the city of Sieradz .

History
The county was formed in 1837 as part of the Kalish province . In 1919, it was transformed into the Sieradz County of Lodz Voivodeship of Poland .
Population
According to the 1897 census, the countyβs population was 123,721 people, including 7005 inhabitants in the city of Sieradz , 15,910 inhabitants in the Zudunskaya Volya cities, and 3418 inhabitants Warta [1] .
