Olten ( FR. Oltingue ) - a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Altkirch district , Altkirch canton [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Ferret ( Altkirsh County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 480 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 359 were economically active , 121 inactive (activity indicator 74.8%, in 1999 - 72.7%). Of the 359 active able-bodied residents, 336 people worked (194 men and 142 women), 23 were unemployed (12 men and 11 women). Among 121 able-bodied inactive citizens, 35 were pupils or students , 36 were pensioners , and another 50 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
Throughout 2011, there were 290 taxable households in the commune , in which 694 people lived. At the same time, the median income was 30,738 euros per taxpayer [10] .
