History
The company was founded in 2000 . The company is a co-founder of the magazine " AnimeGid " and " Moscow Anime Festivals " [2] .
Before MC Entertainment appeared, other video publishers released anime quite randomly and from time to time, so the company actually was a monopolist in the Japanese animation market in Russia until its first competitor, aimed exclusively at anime publishing, XL Media , appeared in early 2006 , and then Mega-Anime and Reanimedia [3] .
At the beginning of 2012, the registration period for the domain of the official website of the company ended. Information about the continuation of the company does not appear.
