Atsuto Suzuki ( Jap. 鈴木 厚 人 , born on October 3, 1946 , Japan ) is a Japanese scientist and physicist . Conducted research on the Super-Kamiokande neutrino detector, organized the creation of the KamLAND neutrino detector. Since 2006, director of KEK .
