Old is a village in the Stupinsky district of the Moscow region as part of the Stupino City Settlement (until 2006 it was part of the Starosytnensky rural district [2] ). For 2016, in Old 1 Street - Bogoroditskaya and Garden Association [3] . It was first mentioned in the scribe books of 1575, as the Komarevsky camp, the village of Staroe in the estate of the deacon A. Sherefetdinov . The village is connected by bus with neighboring settlements [4] . In 1775, a wooden church of the Nativity of the Virgin was built in Stary, on the site of which, in 1896, a brick church was built in the pseudo-Russian style [5] , now it is a monument of architecture of federal significance [6] .

The old one is located in the southeast of the district, on the watershed of the Bunchikhi and Khochemi rivers , the height of the village center above sea level is 190 m [4] . The nearest settlements: Sand 2 km to the north and Staraya Sitnya - about 3.5 km to the south-west.
