It is located in the Khoroshevsky district of Moscow in the industrial zone between Trunk Streets and Silicate Passages. Due to the lack of residential quarters in the immediate vicinity of the station, it was decided to temporarily abandon the construction of the MCC stopping point in the central part of the station, having reserved a place for a promising platform in the inter-blast of the first and second main tracks [2] .

Revenue from cargo operations in 2011 amounted to 211 million rubles. In 2017, the average unloading is 1000 wagons per month, per day 30-35 wagons, revenue from freight work about 20 million rubles per month [2] .
Special high special platforms, ramps for unloading military echelons with military equipment arriving in Moscow from Selyatino station to participate in the May Victory Day parades were built at the station [2] .

Among the exhibits of the museum is the only surviving rare copy of the wall clock “P. Bure ”, which in 1908 decorated all the stations of the new freight road [2] .
Reconstruction
In 2012 - 2016, the station was completely reconstructed to launch passenger traffic on the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway ( MCC ). According to one of the plans, which involved the gradual opening of the movement, the Presnya- Kanatchikovo section was to be launched first.
Within the station there are several stopping centers of the MCC: Khoroshevo , Business Center , Kutuzovskaya , Shelepikha . Previously, there were also Presnya, Kutuzovo (now a park) and the Potylikh stop.
Due to the presence of three bridges across the Moskva River, the Gagarinsky tunnel , the proximity of the Third Ring Road and the difficult terrain on this nine-kilometer section, it was decided to abandon the construction of the third main track [3] .
