History
Trading company Megapolis-Ukraine is one of the largest Ukrainian distribution companies. Over the past few years, Megapolis-Ukraine has been in the TOP-10 of the rating of “200 largest Ukrainian companies” according to Forbes magazine. Megapolis-Ukraine is in the TOP-5 of the rating “Best Companies for Leaders” in Ukraine according to the results of a 2014 study conducted by the international consulting company HAY Group.
The main activity is the distribution of tobacco products and related products. For many years, the company successfully cooperates with leading manufacturers of tobacco products: Philip Morris International , Japan Tobacco International , Imperial Tobacco Group , British American Tobacco .
The company “Megapolis-Ukraine” has about 3,000 employees, the regional network consists of 35 structural units throughout Ukraine. The parent company was Podilla-Tutiun, which was bought first. In fact, over a year and a half, Megapolis has absorbed all other distributors of tobacco products in Ukraine, in violation of the antitrust laws of Ukraine. According to media reports, 2014 is a monopolist in the market.

The owners of Megapolis-Ukraine Trading Company LLC are individuals-citizens of Ukraine, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Boris Kaufman is one of the owners of the company. In Megapolis-Ukraine, they recognized that Kaufman is a co-owner of the company
Protests
On January 12, 2016, public organizations of Lviv , Kiev , Lutsk , Rivne , Kovel and Ternopol launched a protest rally against Russian business in Ukraine, in particular against LLC TK Megapolis-Ukraine.
