Biography
Born on December 5, 1914 in Rostov-on-Don. Mikhail began to deal with the fight in 1933. One of his trainers was A. I. Gambarov [1]

At the championships of the USSR, Mikhail Klimachev spoke 9 times, representing Rostov-on-Don in the ranks of sports societies Spartak (1938, 1940), Armed Forces (1945-1947), Dynamo (1948-1952). He was the champion of the USSR in 1946, 2nd prize-winner in 1938, 3rd prize-winner in 1948, 1950 and 1952; performed in different weight categories (52 and 57 kg). In 1946, an outstanding wrestler Ivan Poddubny congratulated him on victory. [2]
How coach M. I. Klimachev prepared the honored master of sports, the champion of the USSR and the world V. Stankevich ; masters of sports, champion of the USSR - E. Pozhidaev [3] , masters of sports of international class - I. Kochergin and I. Rostovtsev.
Member of World War II . He was awarded the medal "For Labor Valor" (1957).
He was married - with his wife Julia raised three sons and five daughters.
Memory

- In 2014, Rostov hosted the city’s Greco-Roman wrestling championship among young men born in 2000-2001, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the honored trainer of the USSR Mikhail Ivanovich Klimachev. [6]
