Biography
The early years
He began to play football at the academies of and .
Club career
In 1985, he joined Utrecht , where he began his professional career after spending ten seasons. During this time he played 205 matches in the Eredivisi , and also participated in the UEFA Cup in the seasons 1987/88 (against LASK and Verona ) and 1991/92 (against Sturm and Real Madrid ).
In the 1995/96 season, he played in Oerstedivisi for Cambridge , but he took only 6th place with the team and could not help her join the elite. In the summer of 1996, he became a player in the Belgian club Beershot VAK , who played in the country's second-highest division . There he spent 8 matches, after which he moved to the Spanish club Real Murcia from Segunda B , where he stayed until the end of the season.
He completed his playing career at the Vendam club, for which he played from 1997 to 1999 in Erstedivisi.

Coach Career
He began coaching at his hometown Utrecht, where he coached the youth team from 2002 to 2004, after which he spent one season as an assistant to at Roosendaal .

In February 2011, he transferred to the structure of Donetsk Metallurg , where he became the coordinator of youth and youth directions at the academy, and in 2014 he also led the U-19 team, which played in the youth championship . In 2015, he worked with the Malaysian club, .
In January 2016, he became the head coach of Dneprodzerzhinsky Steel , where he was invited by the new president of the club, Vardan Israelyan , who is familiar with the Dutch specialist for collaboration at Metallurg [4] . The contract is designed for 1.5 years [5] . In August 2016, he left the club for family reasons [6] .
