September 23, 2014 Zella released a mini-album Zella Day, containing 4 tracks, which subsequently entered the album.
Later, on February 27, 2015, Zella, having released her first single “Hypnotic” with a video clip for him, officially announced the album, its cover and tracklist. The first live performances were at festivals such as South by Southwest and Orlabi's.
On May 1, the second single “High” was released on Spotify and Vevo .
Also, tracks from the album were used as soundtracks for such films and TV shows as “ The Vampire Diaries ” (“Sweet Ophelia”, “Hypnotic”, “Compass”), “ Pleasant Look ” (“Hypnotic”), “ Teen Wolf ” (“Mustang” Kids ”),“ Pretty Little Liars ”(“ Hypnotic ”),“ Mistresses ”(“ Compass ”),“ And the Storm struck ”(“ Compass ”),“ Blood and Oil ”(“ Mustang Kids ”),“ They Were Confused In Maternity Hospital ”(“ Hypnotic ”),“ Royal Family Members ”(“ Hypnotic ”),“ So You Think You Can Dance ”(“ Hypnotic ”),“ Catfish: The TV Show ”(“ Compass ”).
