Atasu mineral waters are sources of medicinal water, 50 km north of the Atasu railway station in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . The waters lie in Devonian sandstones at a depth of over 80 m. The flow rates of wells are more than 200 m³ / day. Mineralization of water 3.7 g / l. Composition chloride-sulphate-sodium. It also contains strontium , bromine , fluorine and others. Water is used in the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.
