Münschouz ( fr. Munchhouse ) is a commune in northeastern France in the Grand Est region [1] (formerly Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine ), Haut-Rhein department , Tang-Gebwiller district , Canton Ensisime [2] . Until March 2015, the commune of the canton Ensisime was administratively part of the Gébwiller district .

Economy
In 2010, out of 1097 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 852 were economically active , 245 were inactive (an activity indicator of 77.7%, in 1999 - 72.4%). Of the 852 active able-bodied residents, 784 people (433 men and 351 women) worked, 68 were unemployed (31 men and 37 women). Among 245 able-bodied inactive citizens, 71 were pupils or students , 107 were retired , and another 67 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
During 2011, there were 610 taxable households in the commune , in which 1,596 people lived. At the same time, the median income amounted to 23,739 euros per taxpayer [10] .
