Naming
According to a tradition that recognizes the canonicity of only the Hebrew text, only the specified text is a book of Ezra and, accordingly, does not have a number. According to a tradition dating back to the Septuagint , there are two more books attributed to the same author, and this text is called "The First Book of Ezra."
It should be noted that in the Vatican Code of the Septuagint the order of the books of Ezra is changed - the first is considered the deuterocanonical Second Book of Ezra, while the very first book of Ezra is combined with the book of Nehemiah in the second book of Ezra [1] .
