Mortsviller ( fr. Mortzwiller ) - the abolished commune in the north-east of France in the region of Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine , department of Upper Rhine , Tang district - Guebwiller , Canton of Masvo [1] . Until March 2015, the commune in the canton of Mazwio was administratively part of Tang district. It was abolished and merged with the commune of Sopn-les-Oau in January 1, 2016 into the new commune of Le O-Saltsbak on the basis of Administrative Act No. 57 of December 24, 2015 [2] .

Economy
In 2010, out of 231 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 168 were economically active , 63 were inactive (activity rate was 72.7%, in 1999 - 78.4%). Of the 168 active able-bodied residents, 159 people (80 men and 79 women) worked, 9 were unemployed (5 men and 4 women). Among 63 able-bodied inactive citizens, 28 were pupils or students , 21 were retired , and another 14 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
