Imanta ( Latvian: Imanta ) is a residential district of Riga , located on the left bank of the Daugava River, in the western part of the city.

Until the beginning of the 20th century, the estate of Annengof (Anninmuiza), Gross-Dammengof (Liela-Dammesmuiza), Klein-Dammengof (Maza-Dammesmuiza) were located on the territory of Imanta. Regular residential development has been going on since the late 1920s. At first, two-story houses were built, and in the 1950s, individual single-family houses [1] .
Since the 1960s, it has been built up with serial houses with a series of 464A (5 floors) and 602 series (9 floors). It is divided into microdistricts - Imanta-1, Imanta-2, Imanta-3, Imanta-4, Imanta-5. In the 21st century, it was replenished with a number of new buildings, including residential projects Citizen (the best project in Riga in 2005), Solaris, Metropolia, Imantas perle, Dammes Liepas, etc.
Attractions
- Sudrabkalnins - a monument to the soldiers of the 6th Riga Regiment, who defended Riga from the Bermontians in 1919 (architect E. E. Stalberg , sculptor K. Zale ).
