Located on the Ocher River, in the village of Pavlovsky . The absolute level of the water edge in the upper pool is 120.6 m; in the downstream - 114.3 m. The body of water is 2.68 km². The maximum depth is 9 m [1] .

It was created in 1817 with the construction of the Pavlovsk Ironworks [1] . The length of the dam is 1000 m, the width is 10 m. The banks of the pond and the surrounding area are covered with forest. There is roach , bream , perch , ide , bleak , top and other fish.
