The name appeared in the 1880s. It was given in the arena [1] (exercirgauz of the Life Guards Volyn Regiment; house 3), built in 1850-1851 [2] and intended for equestrian exercises of officers of the Volyn Regiment, stationed in the western part of the Kronstadt colony [1] .
On November 6, 2015, Manezhnaya Street along its entire length became one-sided in the northern direction, to Eleninsky Street [3] .
South of house 8 is Volyn Pond.
