(We Ain't Got) Nothin 'Yet - the song of the band Blues Magoos from the album Psychedelic Lollipop , released in November 1966 and reaching the next. in 1967 the top charts of the USA. The authors of the song were Ron Gilbert, Ralph Scala and Mike Exposito. The Vox Continental riffs are based on riffs used by guitarist James Burton in a Rick Nelson cover of the Summertime aria, written by George Gershwin [2] . This Blues Magoos song has become a source of inspiration for Deep Purple in creating its 1970 hit “ Black Night ” [3] .
