The film premiered on April 4, 1966.
Story
The film takes place during the Civil War . In Odessa hosted by the White Guards. In 1918-1919, Entente troops were introduced into the city, including the French squadron.
The Bolshevik underground instructs the French revolutionary Zhanna Lyaburb , for whom Soviet Russia has become a new homeland, to carry out revolutionary work among foreign soldiers and sailors, in the spirit of “ international and world revolution ”, so that they do not participate in hostilities against the Soviet Republic.
In March 1919, the enemy counterintelligence managed to arrest all members of the Foreign Collegium, including Jeanne, who were immediately shot.
Despite the arrest and death, Jeanne Lyaburb managed to carry out propaganda work, which led, after a month and a half, to rebellion in the French fleet and the cessation of French intervention.
Members of the French corps and sailors, as a result of the Bolshevik agitation Lyaburb, at the end of the film refuse to fight against Soviet Russia and return to their homeland.
