Ukrainian-Tajik relations - bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine . Installed on April 24, 1992. Both countries were formerly Soviet republics. Now they interact within the framework of such international organizations as the UN , OSCE and WTO .

Content
History
The Tajik Embassy in Kiev began work in December 2010. The Ukrainian embassy in Dushanbe has been operating since October 2012 [1] .
Bilateral relations are based on the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine, signed during the official visit of Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon to Ukraine on July 6, 2001 [2] [3] . Presidents of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma , Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych paid visits to Tajikistan in April 2003 [4] , March 2008, and September 2011, respectively. In December 2008, Emomali Rahmon paid a state visit to Ukraine, in December 2011 - on an official visit, and in July 2012 - on a working visit [5] .
The legal framework of relations between countries consists of 80 documents, agreements, treaties covering a wide range of issues of cooperation in various fields.
Cooperation with Ukraine is one of the main directions of the foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ukraine is of interest to Tajikistan in the economic and military-technical spheres [6] .
In 2012, Victor Nikityuk was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan [7] . The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine is Fayzullo Holboboev [8] .
Economic Cooperation
An important element in strengthening relations between Ukraine and Tajikistan is the Joint Tajik-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, established in 2002.
Ukraine supplies Tajikistan with food, sugar, medicine, alumina, cement, coal, household appliances. Tajikistan exports to Ukraine raw cotton fiber, fruits, vegetables, dried fruits [9] . In 2014, the volume of trade between countries amounted to 45 million US dollars [7] .
