Biography
Born on July 18, 1904 in Efremov . He graduated from the Bogoroditsk Agricultural College (in those years a university). He worked as an agronomist in the Altai Territory, then in the Chita and Irkutsk Regions, since 1932 - in the Plavsky District of the Tula Region. Since 1938 - the senior agronomist of the Krasin state farm in the Efremovsky district of the Tula region.
From 1941 to 1945 he fought on the Kalinin and Baltic fronts. Demobilized in the rank of major .
From 1946 to 1948 - the chief agronomist of the vegetable trust of state farms. From 1948 to 1953, he was the head of the district land department of the Efremov District Executive Committee. From 1953 to 1965 - Deputy Head of the Tula Regional Department of Agriculture. He made a great contribution to the post-war restoration of agricultural production in the Efremov region, in transferring it to a scientific basis. He was engaged, in particular, in the introduction of promising varieties of cereals, fodder, vegetables, the development of advanced agricultural technologies for growing barley and corn. The initiator of the creation and organizer of the Plavsky Experimental Station. He did a lot to strengthen the material base of the Tula, Ivanovo and Bogoroditsky agricultural technical schools, the Tula agricultural school - educational institutions, which gave a galaxy of mid-level cadres for collective farm and state farm production in the Tula region.
