Moosch ( fr. Moosch ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , district of Tan - Gebwiller , canton of Serne [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Saint-Amarén ( Tan County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 1,071 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 775 were economically active , 296 inactive (activity indicator 72.4%, in 1999 - 72.5%). Of the 775 active able-bodied residents, 692 people worked (365 men and 327 women), 83 were unemployed (46 men and 37 women). Among 296 able-bodied inactive citizens, 70 were pupils or students , 131 - pensioners , and another 95 - were inactive due to other reasons [8] [9] .
Throughout 2011, the commune had 733 taxable households, in which 1645 people lived. In this case, the median income amounted to 19,501 euros per taxpayer [10] .
